Another busy week here in school. We are hosting a “Music while you munch” event in aid of Children in Need. We are also collecting donations of 50p pieces and we will measure the length of the total donations to see how far our 50p trail would go!

Arrangements have been finalised for our Christmas Activity Day in December. Year 7 & 8 have a Disco here in school, year 9 have the opportunity to have a go at Ice Skating, year 10 are going Bowling and year 11 have a choice of activates, such as Ice Skating, Karting, Paint-Balling and much more!

We had news in assembly this week that we have been twinned with a school in Tanzania. Mrs Biddulph and Mr O’Connor have already visited the school and the Head Teacher has visited our school. We are raising money to buy a Lap Top and Projector. The idea is to exchange resources with both schools sharing ideas for lessons. We think it will be great to learn about other cultures.

Last week we sold Poppies in school and our Head Boy and Girl laid a wreath to honour the men and women who have given their lives for our country.
