Year 9 Camp 2017: Laches Wood Outdoor Education Centre

Posted: July 11th, 2017

Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July all Year 9 students were given the opportunity to go on the ‘Year 9 Camp Trip’.

The trip was a great success with all students taking part in archery, kayaking, BMX riding, hiking, orienteering, caving, rock climbing, bushcraft and much more. The students stayed in tents for the full week and embraced the great outdoors. The support the students gave each other over the week was amazing; helping each other overcome fears and gaining new friends along the way.

Not only did the students leave camp as one big team but they also gained self confidence and belief in their own abilities. There are too many highlights to list. It was a trip that will never be forgotten.
