Competition for students: Develop a marketing plan

Posted: April 22nd, 2020

Digital marketing company Dentsu Aegis have launched an online competition for students to take part in at home. This is aimed at year 10 students but other year groups are free to take part. The aim is to create a marketing brief aimed at engaging young adults in the work of the World Wildlife Fund.

Dentsu have a fantastic history of engaging with students in a variety of ways to ensure they are upskilled and knowledgeable about career pathways in the marketing and communications sector and they have been working at pace to develop new ways of engaging with students within the current context.

In partnership with us, MyKindaFuture, they have developed an online competition
(collaboration between Dentsu and one of their partners, WWF)

  • It can be accessed by individual students, allowing them an insight into the work of Dentsu
  • Giving students an opportunity to speak with Dentsu employees, supporting them with their entry
  • Winning entries will receive up to £200 Amazon vouchers and the opportunity for online mentoring with Dentsu employees

It asks students to develop a marketing plan with the aim of converting young people from ‘one off donors’ to ‘regular givers’ to WWF. There is a wealth of information about the competition on our online platform here, as well as the opportunity to engage with Dentsu employees.

How can students get involved?
Students can sign up on this link to register, find out more and submit their entry.

When does the competition close?
This current competition closes on 1st May 2020.

Some of our students have taken part in a similar project with MyKindaFuture and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Why not have a go?

You can find the brief here.
