These photographs were taken on the High Street Yard facing what is now the Sports Hall (erected in the early 80s). The pupils were probably the older ones (now Year11) who stayed on after the official leaving age to take examinations.

This photo was taken between 1962 and 1963. The bank behind the photo still exists but now has the Sports Hall at the top.
